Current Twitch Status & Outages
Keep track of connection issues with Twitch. When Twitch stops working, it can be extremely frustrating, so we built this tool to help.
Why check the Twitch server status?
By checking the operational status of Twitch, you can determine if the problem is on your end (like your local WiFi or internet provider) or if it's a widespread server issue. When our graphs show a spike in reports, it indicates a confirmed disruption in their network architecture.
How to fix connection issues if Twitch is NOT down
If our data shows that Twitch is operational, but you still cannot connect, try the following steps:
- Restart your router and modem.
- Open an incognito or private browsing window and try accessing twitch.tv again.
- Disable any active VPNs or proxy servers temporarily.
- Check your app store for any pending updates for the software.
If there is a massive server failure, you will usually see other users complaining about it on platforms like Twitter/X immediately.
